The United Kingdom is bordered to the South by the English Channel, to the East by the North Sea and to the West by the Irish Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. Its territory also includes, belonging to Great Britain, the Isle Of Wight, Anglesey, the archipelagos of Scilly, Orkney and Hebrides. Northern Ireland (Ulster) occupies the north-east of the island of Ireland.
